Trouble For President Buhari, John Oyegun, Ali Ndume, APC, As Olisa Metuh Storms Federal High Court, Makes Groundbreaking Revelations With Evidence

The former National Publicity Secretary of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Olisa Metuh, on Monday, stormed the Federal High Court, Abuja, where he made some groundbreaking revelations.

It would be recalled that Olisa Metuh has been facing trial for allegedly collecting N400 million from the embattled former National Security Adviser, NSA, Sambo Dasuki.

However, Metuh who was present in court today, testified on how the All Progressives Congress, APC, Federal Government, led by President Muhammadu Buhari, threatened and singled him out for victimisation.

His words in full:

My Lord, on the issue of threat to me, it was actually made to me publicly and directly, two or three days before I was arrested by the EFCC

The threat was made by the then National Chairman of the APC, John Oyegun, wherein he stated that the government of the day will no longer tolerate my criticism of their politics and program.

It is pertinent that I state here, that his direct threat to me was in response to my reaction as the then NPS of the PDP, to the last ever media chat by the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

In that media chat, the President had made a comment about the unwillingness of the government to obey court orders, in relation to the grant of bail given to Sambo Dasuki, and the unlawful detention of Nnamdi Kanu.

He also went ahead to describe the aspiration of the South-East people as insatiable.

My response was to state that the President had informed Nigerians in the course of his campaign, that he was a reformed democratic, one that will obey the rules of law, but that he has shown himself to be an unrepentant tyrant.

It was that word unrepentant tyrant, and my statement that he is not God, and therefore we will not worship him, that led the APC National Chairman to threaten me, that the government will no longer tolerate my criticisms.

This issue of singling out Metuh for persecution arose, because the Leader of the Senate, Senator Ali Ndume, just weeks before that, had in a Press interview, stated that the PDP was in a coma, and that he had no doctor, but only one nurse, Olisa Metuh.

That was a signal to the government and it’s Agencies, that they needed to remove that nurse, Olisa Metuh, so that only their party will thrive.

He, Senator Ali Ndume, stated this because of the various statements I had made as the National Publicity Secretary of the PDP, where we gave our options and our reactions to the misdeeds of the government, especially in the misapplication of their policies and programs.

I had raised the issue of the President demarketing the country in the internal fora. I had raised the issue of the foreign exchange policy of the government, and how it was going to lead us into a gross devaluation of the naira.

We had also alerted the country to an impending recession that will arise, because the government had no cabinet for six months

At that time the party had decided to operate as a robust opposition party, and I had the benefit of  getting economy advice from the best brains available within the country.

From May 29, 2015, when this government came into office, to January 5, 2016, when I was arrested, the present government could not successfully sell any policy to Nigerians, because I as the National Publicity Secretary, I always brought out the futility of their policy, and informed on better options that the government should have taken.

The elected and officials of the government were frustrated, and sent several warnings to me personally.

In December 2015, I was called by the DSS, in Anambra State, to come and answer questions on the running of the party in Anambra, and information got to me that there was a ploy by the DSS to arrest me.

I got that DSS call on December 22, to appear on Friday, January 2, 2016.

I refused and told them that the DSS has nothing to do with internal running of a political party, and besides that as NPS of the PDP, I am a National Officer of the party, and not under the jurisdiction of a State chapter.

I was reliably informed that all the Security Agencies were out looking for reasons to arrest, disgrace, embarrass, or put me me away.

Yes, I have documents to show that the National Chairman of APC, directly and publicly threatened me that this government will no longer tolerate my criticisms, which was in reaction that President Buhari is an unrepentant tyrant, and that he was not God, and that we will not worship him.

In respect of statement made by Ali Ndume, I have public documents to show that Senator Ndume had alerted the government and its Agencies, that the PDP was in coma, and that it had no doctors, but only Olisa Metuh as a nurse, thereby referring that if the nurse is taking away, the PDP will die.

I can identify the publication in PM News, with a caption, ‘Olisa Metuh only nurse for a dying PDP’, date, November 11, 2015.

I can also identify the publication by Channels online, where the APC National Chairman lashed out at me and termed our constructive criticism, to mean disrespect to the President. Maybe he felt the opposition must not have a say.

Documents admitted in evidence included channels online report on Oyegun, with the caption ‘Stop abusing the President, Oyegun warns PDP’; PM online news, ‘Metuh only nurse for a dying PDP’.

A report says, she was sending the p.h.o.t*s to her supposed guy fri!e.n.d but unfortunately hit social media and Ghanaians can’t have enough. This uncalled for attitude has taken over Ghana because many folks especially ladies are letting go of their own personal videos and photos. As usual, Ghface.com’s policy does not allow such video on its platform because it’s a family new portal for all. Thank you for your understanding. See photos below;
