The All Progressive Congress, APC, is in deep shock as the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, on Saturday, defeated the ruling party in both the Presidential and National Assembly elections, at PU 0057, Ward 05, Epe Local Government Area, Lagos East.
Recall, that the Lagos State Governor, Akinwunmi Ambode, is from PU 0057, Ward 05, Ward 05, Epe.
Here are the results as declared by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.
House of Representatives:
APC – 52
PDP – 58
AD – 1
Senate:
APC – 53
PDP – 60
AD – 2
Presidency:
APC – 53
PDP – 57
Meanwhile, reverse is the case in neighboring Ogun State, as President Muhammadu Buhari of the APC, has defeated Atiku Abaubakar of the PDP, at the polling unit of former President, Olusegun Obasanjo, in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital.

While the APC secured polled 87 votes in the Presidential election in the polling unit, the PDP got just 18 votes.
