EXPOSED! See The Moment A Sharp Nigerian Guy Caught Ex-Minister Alison-Madueke On A Street In London (Photo)

Former Minister of Petroleum Resources, Diezani Alison-Madueke, was spotted early this morning while walking on a street in London. There have been calls from different quarters for the extradition of the former minister over several allegations of impropriety and corruption against her.  Mrs. Diezani Allison Madueke has been severely accused of financial impropriety leveled against her by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC. The looting was said to have happened during the administration of former president, Goodluck Jonathan.

Osquare Okpanachi who spotted the ex-minister on the street while going to work – took to his Facebook page to share pictures and wrote; “Guess who I just saw while driving to work in North West, London?? Diezani Alison Madueke. The moment she noticed I wanted to snap her, she quickly moved very fast away from me. I was gonna come down to ask her about our yams, but the traffic was moving.”

In October, 2017, the Minister of Justice and Attorney-General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami, had said that Nigeria had no immediate plan to bring Mrs Allison-Madueke back home to face trial. Mrs Allison-Madueke, who is being investigated in the UK, had urged the federal government to bring her back to the country to face corruption charges against her. But, Mr Malami said that bringing her back to the country would jeopardise the investigation being carried on her in the UK.

In 2018, the international police had issued an arrest warrant for the ex-minister of petroleum resources. Punch’s report quoted a source as saying, “We have filed the necessary processes and the Interpol has red-flagged Allison-Madueke. This means that the extradition process has been kick-started and the former minister may be arrested by the United Kingdom police or any police agency all over the world and repatriated to Nigeria.”

Recall that the Acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Ibrahim Magu, had, December 5th, vowed to comply with a Federal Territory High Court order mandating the commission to produce former Petroleum Minister, Diezani Alison-Madueke, in court within 72 hours to stand trial for alleged graft while in office. Magu, who made the vow at a briefing in Abuja, had also lamented that 80 percent of Nigeria’s looted funds were still trapped abroad, while 60 percent of the stolen wealth was hidden in Nigeria by fraudulent and highly placed persons he described as “sharks.” He, however, vowed to take all necessary steps to unravel and retrieve the stolen wealth and bring the perpetrators of the crime to justice, no matter how long and tedious the judicial process might be.
